I understand the problem you're having with the CX995V, I ran across the same problem going from the CX985V to the CX995V. i.e. In the CX985V selecting a DVD from within the Sony Explorer was as easy as typing in the DVD #. For some reason this does not work on the CX995V, which I'm guessing is a bug on Sonys part. To get around this you have to do the following:

1. DVD: Stop
2. DVD: Display
3. DVD: Enter
4. DVD: "XXX" (DVD to go to)
5. DVD: Enter
6. DVD Display

Stupid place to have to go to. Now to get your Harmony remote to do this automatically (from the Media menu you've already uploaded into it) you will need to contact Logitech support and have them code the above functions into your profile. I had them do this and now it works the way I want it to.
