Hi,

I am from Cape Town South Africa. Our households run on 240V as opposed to the 110V in the US. Will the X10 frequency still work on the higher voltage?

If not, does anyone know of an alternative home automation system other than X10 based systems.
I have looked into the Activehome system which seems really nice but is not available in SA. I was wondering if the voltage issue is the reason for this.
