Whoa!!!! I'm going to have to back up on my review of the SmartLinc. I have just found out that there is NOT any type of upgrade for this thing... NONE,ZIP,NADDA!
The only "work-around" that Smarthome offered was to purchase another piece of equipment ($120) that I could train with x10 commands and then use its IR output to control my two year old television. Don't think so.... So, less than three weeks old, it is already obsolete!
Back in the box it goes.
It appears that the Ocelot controller is the only way to go.
