Take a look at the Yamaha RXV495. It has Dolby Digital, but no DTS (debatable whether that is even worth it). It has about 70watts RMS and is stable to 4 ohms as all Yamahas are. Something to consider since some of the other receivers mentioned, including your current one are not so well suited to that impedence and I believe that is what the Bose are usually rated at. Plus when it comes to reliability, it is nearly bulletproof like most other Yamahas. At $399 it is a steal.
