Good News, the 1009 has TWO IR eyes, one for the GUI higher freq system Pioneer had as well as the normal freq. range ir eye. The workaround is to get the remote from a pro100/200/700HD. The 1009 should accept all the codes from these units, including the auto/full/cinema/zoom adjustments needed for the 16:9 size. Good luck.
