The Monster XP cable is about the same price as your old cable but will probably sound a heck of a lot better on your rear speakers. As with computer technology you can get a lot more bang for the buck than a few years ago. Try a better cable on the front and center spkrs. , as they are a bit more critical for movie viewing.
