Thanks for your reply David, Is there any way to change how the SCART sockets work ? I.e. can I change AV2 to be the same as AV1 ? If not how would you suggest I connect the following components together:-

Sony TV - has AV1 and AV2
Sony DVD has input scart and ouput scart
digibox (DSS)- has an input scart and output scart
AKAI VCR - also has 2 scart sockets
Dreamcast - will only work in TV AV1 (NB will not work if connect via DSS to AV1 !!!)
