Rocco,

If you want a remote that will truly handle everything for you, I would suggest a Philips Pronto or Madrigal IRIQ (AKA - Harman Kardon Take-control, etc)

The Pronto is unquestionably the better of the two, but will take much longer to program.

The IRIQ is easily programmed, and almost all existing brands are pre-programmed.

The Remote control forum will tell you that the Pronto is the only way to go, and I would agree as long as you are comfortable programming it. The unit is entirely customizable, so you can really make it do exactly what you want.

Both of these units allow for Macro programming, which will simplify the use of your system substantially.

These units may seem expensive at first look, but every one of my customers that have one would not part with it now.

Good Luck Derek
