How long have you had the LS50? There is a 90 satisfation guarantee & you can return it for another unit or refund within that time frame.
BTW.. The new Bose Lifestyle systems (28 & 35) NOW do RF & IR! They will control other components as well with the one remote. IR codes to operate Bose System are now available.
