gussman,

My understanding of the Bose Lifestyle remotes is that they all utilize radio instead of infrared signals to control the components. If yours is a radio remote, none of the remotes reviewed here will work for you out of the box. Bose told me that some remotes in the over $1,000 range will work, and recommended I look at the Crestron.

It MAY be possible for you to acquire a device to convert the IR signals from the less expensive universal remotes into RF signals that your Lifestyle system will understand. Some threads on this site have mentioned the CM1, which is extremely hard to find but is supposed to do the trick. I've never seen nor used one, so I can't tell you more. Read the last post in this thread, when I e-mailed him he responded that he had some available.

Good luck on your quest (or should I say odyssey)? :)

-Bruce
