The Pioneer Elite and Toshiba were not included, however, I understand the Runco is a Pioneer Elite with a line doubler and a different chip set. The Toshiba 50 was only displayed at the Toshiba booth. I dont know what they were thinking, but it was mounted about 12' up the wall! I carry Toshiba so I really wanted to see it, but that high up on the wall, it was hard to tell much. You can take a look at the specs at
www.toshiba.com Thing I look for in a Plasma are natural but rich color that isnt smeared. Also, on some displays they have jagged edges on some scenes. The better displays Handle this better. Test CDs can also tell you alot. A big thing in Plasmas is their ability to display black. Some show very dark grey. The better ones give you true black.
