I just got this unit from a friend who had given up on it. I get no display on the screen. When I insert the batteries, the buttons light up for a couple of seconds, then the turn off and the unit beeps four times. ( once ).

When I try to flash the firmware, I reset with a paperclip as instructed, but then get an error window " We were not able to reboot properly, Firmware update will stop "

I tried not doing the manual reset, like you suggested, but the unit just sits there, doesn't do anything.

Any other ideas?
