Ouch. Gateway is clearly not capable of dealing with this type of product according to those reviews. On my recommendation, my company bought a Sampo from Costco a year ago for the same price as the lower-end Gateway version of the same TV. It has had zero problems and dialed in nicely for a basic, Avia calibration. I can't remember reading stuff like this, but I assumed the OEM would be better than the Gateway version. Looks like I made a good choice, so far.

Sounds like a class-action waiting to happen with Gateway plasma owners.
