Let me try that again, I wasn't thinking with my earlier post. Yes, you can get a regular progressive scan player modded with an SDI digital output. This could go to your TV or scaler with an SDI digital input and you would have full digital video path with earlier technology than the current DVI/HDMI setups. Would also be much more expensive.
