Wow. It's really hard to believe that these problems have continued for at least 4 years of production runs on these varied Kenwood receivers, and they've done nothing to try to fix it.

I could see if one particular model number had issues, or a number of products that shared the same PCB design or date of manufacture... but this affects a wide range of models, with different circuit board layouts, manufactured in different years, and the problem appears to still be occurring.

Kind of speaks volumes about Kenwood's commitment (or lack thereof) to making quality products.

I still haven't replaced my old RC-R0913 remote. Since, if I want RF, I'd have to buy another Kenwood OEM remote... and I just dont trust them enough to plunk down another $130.
