Sounds like you're doing it right, but I have 4 thoughts.

First, you say a "1 sec" delay, Tonto works in milliseconds, so that would be 1000 ms, not a 1 which may not be enough time delay. You should only need 200 to 400 ms in most situations.

Second, be sure that your aliasing to the correct button (the one that has the TV input code), sometimes it's hard to tell from the list.

Third, do you have discrete codes for the TV inputs?? This is a code that directly selects say input number 3 as opposed to cycling through them sequentially. If not, setting this up may be slightly more difficult - please advise.

Fourth, based on what I think you're trying to do, the action list should be:
Alias to TV power
Delay (200ms)
Alias to TV input (a discrete code)
If this is what you want, does the TV turn on and then the input fails to switch?
