I'm trying to help my brother-in-law with a Marantz RC9200 that he has never been able to get to work since his wife gave it to him over two years ago. Programming was "started" by the store where it was purchased (Oviation in Indianapolis) and he was given information on how to finish it. Guess what, he never did it and now he is clueless.
I called Oviation and they took me through downloading all the software from the Marantz site and said I could find ccfiles here at remotecentral.
I have downloaded and installed the "default" ccl to the remote.
I've browsed through this web site, but I'm not finding what I think I should be finding.
Is there a location for basic control files for standard A/V equipment? For example, they have a Pro1000HD Pioneer TV. Is there a default file for that somewhere?
At this point, I’m not interested in creating macros or other bells. I’d just like to get the basic functions of the units going and then proceed from there. I’m hoping I don’t have to go through the “learn” routine for this stuff.
I'm reasonably good with electronics, but this one has me baffled.
