All the above is very nice. However. It is a little technical for litle old me however. So to be specific for my system.
I require a macro to, for instance. 1. Switch on TV. (Not a discreet on/off operation) Best way appears to Use Power button then "1" This will ensure that the TV is ON and in TV (ariel) mode. 2. Switch to AV mode. Keying the TV/AV button switchs to the previously used AV channel. 3. Toggle the AV channels to get to AV2 (Not AV2 super!). This is working fine so I wont go into details. 4. Switch on "SKY" digital box. 5. Turn Processor to correct Video Channel. (Proccessor is used for Video Switching on ALL devices and the output fed to TV's AV2 channel)
The problem that i have is at the verfy begining. The TV's Power button requires a "long" press. Programming this in a macro only gives a "short" press. This leaves me with the TV being in various states depending on how it was at the macro implementation.
So. How, in english preferably, do i force the Macro to add a "long" press to this section of the program?
Hope that is a reasonably straight forward description. Cheers.
