These dimmers work very well with most codes. But remember, after you have pasted the hex code into your universal remote, you have to get the dimmer to 'learn' your code.

This is an easy process.

1. Press the dimmer 6 times, the lights should then go dim to bight to dim
2. Press the button on the remote that you have just programmed
3. The lights will again go dim to bright and back again
4. Confirm the chosen code, by pressing the button on the controller again
5. The lights will go dim - bright - dim - bright - dim

Now the dimmer has learnt the button, you shouldn't have any problems.
