i have called Panasonic several times - and spoken to different people - according to them there is no dicrete code for selecting the inputs

What about just not using AV1, so you dont need to scroll and only use 2/3/4 and Component?

i have ordered mine already and no matter what i guess I will have to live with it - espiecially my wife - oh that will cause some new trouble I guess!
