'Normalize' sounds like a dangerous button to have on the handset, especially if you have just paid to have your screen calibrated.
Am interested in the PHD8 - might just wait until then. Do you think Panasonic will document the codes or will it be left for clever people to work out and publish here. I reckon the PV500 has a lot more discretes then Panasonic will admit - I've found ON, OFF and WIDE.
I already have the manual - it's now on the Panasonic website for download. Thanks for the offer though.
I don't this alternative method won't work with the PV500. This is because the inputs are split across two coloured menus:
R - AV1/S G - AV2/S Y - AV3/S B - Next
R - Back G - AV4/S Y - Comp/PC/HDMI
So the Macro would only select AV1 if the last used input was AV1, 2 or 3. But if the last input used were AV4, Comp, PC or HDMI then the Macro would select 'Back' and send you back to the first menu without selecting anything.
