On the TV sets normalise sets all your user settings to the default even sound settings.BUT...


I have found that on some sets this macro works
AV1 Discrete Macro:
Red
---- brings up AV input menu in AV mode, no effect in TV mode
Delay 50ms
Red
---- selects AV1 in AV mode, no effect in TV mode
TV/AV
---- is ignored during AV1 switchover if set was in AV mode, otherwise switches from TV to AV mode
Delay 200ms
Red
---- now select the right video input.

its all about finding a known state.

PS I believe the TH-PHD8 will have a complete set of discretes if you are open to a panel only design.
