yes, I agree- I already checked directly with Panasonic technical service - there is NO wa to directly send codes to select inputs - you have to go throughthis terrible menu thing.
Nevertheless I ordered one and hope that I will find a way- I just like the picture quality too much
by the way I posted 2 times already for this questiohn - there seem not too many who have this Plasma on this board
