Here's my take on this remote. The first one I bought was a dud so I took it back and got another one. Very good remote (much better than the learning Cinema 6 I'm replacing). My biggest concern was getting all the buttons set up for the DISH 7100 sat receiver. My advice for anyone who is going to be using the "learning" feature a lot is to save yourself some hassle and just do the "P**,980" memory clearing function first before programming anything. As mentioned before in this thread, this seems to free up more memory than would be available if you just started programming out of the box. At first I couldn't fit all the options from the new DISH 7100 into the memory but after starting fresh using the "980" command, everything fit. This remote is a dream (at least for $30!) Now I just have to teach my wife how to use it... She just figured out the Cinema 6 a couple of weeks ago. Oh well.
