Thanks for the help anyway, I will just use my directv remote for now until I get a newer universal, hopefully I can find the directv remote code for my tv though, if you know any off hand I'd appreciate the help it is a Toshiba flat screen a few years old (dont have the model number with me) but the guide for the directv remote doesn't seem to have a correct code for it.
