Hey Edmund, the first 2 Insignia upgrades that
we have in the JP1 group are clones of existing
codes, which tends to imply that Insignia is a
re-badging brand, so even though other universals
might not have Insignia listed, it doesn't mean
that there isn't a good code for the set in the
remote, it's just a question of finding it.
You missed the meaning of my post, insignia tv's seemed to fall into 4 different camps, ones that use the Admiral/Emerson code, or Mitsubishi Tv code, or Philips, and a unknown. The R5 & R7 seemed to have this unknown one preset. Because I know for sure it doesn't matched any of the other brands.
