There's more hidden gems that this remote can do. First off, it has a feature called "key mover" which you can use to copy buttons from one location to another, but more importantly, you can use it to add buttons that don't exist, using "advanced codes".

You can read up on advanced codes here...

Here's the list for TV/0250:

For example, I don't know if your TV has Picture In Picture, but if it does and you like to use that feature, you could pick a spare button on the Mil4 to be your PIP button, and you could program it using advanced code 232 (from that list).

Now let's say that you want to make the "A" button into your PIP button, here's what you would do...

1) Press and hold SETUP, 2 flashes
2) Type 994, 2 flashes
3) Press (don't hold) SETUP
4) Type 232
5) Press "A", 2 flashes

And you know what else, this remote is also programmable from your PC! So, if you have a device in your system that the remote doesn't control, you can hook it up to your PC and add a code for that device, using a process called JP1. All you would need is a JP1 cable, which you can make yourself or buy for about $14.

Read about JP1 here:
