Bah . . . I give up on this. The remote codes don't work for channel up and down :-( And even if it did (looking at it again), I doubt it would get to the "aux" inputs, which I can't get to with my other universal remote either :-(

I will have to obtain a new TV to be able to get to the "aux" inputs :-( Lot of sad faces in this one :-(
