The "PHDVR8L" seems to be a bit of a mystery remote. I have one - full color packaging, manual, etc, but it was sent to me by the manufacturer. Others have claimed to find it for purchase, but I'm not sure if they really had the "L" model or the PHDVR8 (without backlighting). And I believe that still others have found the backlit version of this remote sold without the "L" designation (which would still make it the same thing).
