You should be able to use one of the DVD setup code by changing the IR mode in the RDR-HX900 to DVD1 mode (try either AUX/1758 or AUX/1904). It is set to DVD3 by default. There will be some functions missing, but you will be able to add them using advanced codes. If you can get it to work with a DVD setup code, post which one you are using and I will post how to program in the missing functions.
