Hi. I'm unsure if anyone still checks this thread. But my problem with the CL019 remote is that it does not work on the Philips TV w/ built-in Magnavox VCR. I've tried the codes listed for both brands and have tried the Code Search using Channel Up/Down and Power button. And even though it works with my Sansui TV and Sylvannia VCR/DVD Player, it does not work with the Philips TV. After so many presses using Code Search, the light finally flashes four times and then turns off. It wouldn't be so frustrating, but a couple months ago, I was able to program the remote for the Philips TV and Sansui TV interchangeably with no problems. Any assistance would be appreciated.
