I have remote BN59-00598A, and Pioneer DVD player DV-578A.

Code 143 works very well. Only the pause part of the play/pause button doesn't function. It is good to note that testing a couple buttons when running through all of the codes is a good idea. Initially trying the power button didn't give any hits, but after trying the play button and having the DVD start, the power button works fine.
