First I'd like to express much thanks to Daniel Tonks for this great web site. Well done!

I just purchased a RM-AV2000 I like it very much (esp since most of my equipment is Sony ES stuff and I hardly had to program any of the buttons). But I've noticed that when the light is on, the unit makes a distinct buzzing (or high-pitch whining noise). Anyone else notice this? Pretty inaudible once the music/movie gets going, so I can live with it.

Also, on the AMP button set, field in misspelled, as in "SOUND FEILD ON/OFF"!

For $130, though, you can't beat it. But I just something called Universal Remote for the Palm Pilot. A software-driven remote sounds very interesting.
