Can the Sony RM-AV2000 remote (or any other remote for that matter) send native RF signals in addition to IR signals? Can one buy an adapter for the remote to do this? Is it possible to program the remote so that only specific sources (e.g., receiver, etc...) send IR and specific sources send RF (CD, X-10, etc...)?

I am trying to purchase a remote that can function throughout the house while minimizing the investment cost and sources for failure for IR/RF signalling (remote IR sensors, IR wiring, RF transmitter and receivers, etc...).
