Well, up until a short time ago you could not order them anywhere in Canada, including The Sony Store. They just wern't available. I'm quite certain that Sony of Canada is still not **marketing** this product in Canada, however like you said it appears that many stores have become aware of this product and will special order one if you request it, though it seems a bit spotty on who carries what when.
