I use the AV-2000 to control the VR-209 Receiver, and other than a visit to Circuit city to learn a few extra commands from another Kenwood remote control, I've had no problems.

I've set up the mode select buttons to automatically switch the AMP to the correct channel.... which speeds things up a lot.

I must say that I'm not very impressed with the touch screen, and would prefer a unit with both the touch screen and normal numeric keys.
