All I can say is that original equipment remotes are notoriously limited in their ability to control other devices. You might try all of the other codes, but they probably won't work either, which of course means you have to use the crappy Time Warner POS.

It may have something to do with the fact that the codes were probably supplied for analog cable boxes and won't work on newer HD boxes. Which is unfortunate since yours is a current TV with all those capabilities built in.
