Do not have an original RM-VR1, sorry.

But you might consider buying an One For All universal remote. Cheaper than the original remote, you don't need an original remote for learning, as you can control your Sony by upgrading the setup code AMP 0815 and it can also control other devices.

Tested this code in 2001 in an OFA URC-7560 to control a Sony TA-VE800G, worked perfectly. Did not realize at that time that it was a special moment in history to control a VisionTouch directly with a sub $100 universal remote :-)
