I believe the Pioneer TV problem can be solved by a Xantech product. The pieces would be an IR receiver going into a translator module and coming out as Pioneer codes to an IR emitter sending at the TV.
This would be the solution we would use when faced with a (bas?!&*) remote code. It didn't take Pioneer long to go back to the old code scheme after getting the heat they did from the custom installation community.
I also do have another question: How do you run macros that KNOW the state of your equipment so the equipment doesn't power toggle when it shouldn't?
If you really want full one touch control, have a look at smartlinc.com.....they have truly one touch control as the system knows the state of every piece of equipment. For the family members who are techno challenged, it's the best solution I've found to date.....And yes, they are working on a wireless interface.
