My $.02 on the matter about DSP settings and using the manufacturers recommended amp for their in-wall subwoofers is; I have put in several DefTech in-wall subs, and have found that the only amp that makes them sound right is their own. Anything else I've tried just doesn't work out right or provide the oomph.
