Are you sure it's the latest firmware? (Not accusing you, just asking)
Reason I ask is we have had multiple issues with Apple TV's (4/5th Gen) and different apps.

Auto Update is on, however if you check for update, there is one.
Once it downloads and installs, apps work fine again.

Been experiencing this for multiple customers
You can have right, or you can have it now, but you can't have it right now!
