Are you sure it's the latest firmware? (Not accusing you, just asking) Reason I ask is we have had multiple issues with Apple TV's (4/5th Gen) and different apps.
Auto Update is on, however if you check for update, there is one. Once it downloads and installs, apps work fine again.
