Thanks, but the problem with those directions is that they require a working remote, which is my whole problem. Or at the least requires the orignial remote, as the replacement first suggested in this thread does not have the required buttons to change the command for the remote to match the player. Does anyone know where I can find an original remote that isn't $500 (the only one I've found so far, which is more than I paid for the player) or how I can change the command code from the player directly, without a remote?
