That is not true.
A lot of TVs come with Bluetooth remotes these days but they ALL still have IR control as well.
Not according the the research I have done so far. Samsung & LG (Goldstar) seem to have only RF remotes. Only the lower end names (Vizio, Hisense, TCL for example) seem to still use IR.
