I have a client that has excellent wifi throughout the property and several of these boxes. Every single one shows the weak signal indicator every now and then. These boxes are out in the open and not near anything that degrades wifi.

That is odd. I have a Comcast tech in my area I have worked with on a couple projects, and he is very confident with those boxes. We even had a project with hard wires to all locations, and he said he wanted to just put in the Wi-Fi units, and they just continue to work. I have used them as problem solvers on other projects, and never had issues. This is with the newest version. The Xi5 were not nearly as good.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
