I’m curious. How have you worded the eBay offer? “Free shipping” seems to be magic words. Are you giving a price, with free shipping or are you offering free merchandise and charging actual shipping costs?
I understand the goal and we’ve got similar stuff that I’d like to save from the landfill. (Need any B&O Master Link?) I’m trying to decide what closes the sale. I have no experience with eBay as a seller or buyer. Overall, eBay seems like a risky place to do business, but I’m open to listening to other’s experiences. Since there seems to be a lot of sales on eBay, someone is satisfied.
A long time ago we had a “by the pound” sale on our website. There were no warranties except that the model number was correct. This was all old stuff that customers asked us to take away or abandoned service items. Fixer uppers would load up their car. eBay was just starting up back then.
