I have more of a risk driving to the cigar lounge and getting killed by a drunk driver, than i have of dying of of covid. I mitigate that risk by being a defensive driver, wearing a seat belt and generally obeying the rules of the road.
Why are you wearing a seat belt? That drunk driver is certain that he can drive safely. Besides, seat belts are dangerous and could trap you inside a flaming or submerged car.
The the percentage of safe drivers is overwhelming. If you are worried about a few drunk drivers, stay home.
