As all of us have to do I suppose, I need to update codes when I change a piece of equipment. My new Sony XR65A80J is great and was able to use old codes for basic functions (like on and off).

But some functions are more tricky. The "TV" button for example (on the Sony TV remote) actually appears to use bluetooth or Wifi. Don't know how to address that.  I found "TV" button IR codes in other Sony TVs but they don't work.

My problem right now is setting the Sony to the right input depending on what we want to do and I have not found codes that will make the new TV switch to HDMI 1 (as an example).

Is the Sony Excel file of codes still good? I did try copy/paste one HDMI 1 code but it did not work.

Would anyone have advice?  Thanks.
