Problem is, most of this stuff you can't find retail either. I'm waiting to finish one with 6 amps, and be Sonos or Heos, doesn't matter, and two sound bars, once again, either Sonos ARC or the bigger Denon/Heos. Everything else is done, but the audio part is a big check. Luckily I was able to get paid so far for what I have been able to complete, but I know some guys that have really big checks being held because of stuff like this.
I’m touching on 6 figures being withheld from different projects. Most just missing a Sonos device or AVR…. A few others some misc. items you can’t find at retail.
It’s labor and some change order outstanding but I do 100% of equipment upfront.
Im starting to notice my phone and emails becoming quieter too. Im chalking this up to being word has got out you can’t get product and or it’s the summer time and people are traveling for the first time in 18 months.
