Simon,

I cannot seem to locate the thread you mentioned about replies not showing.

So, I did some digging to find LG OLED codesets. I found this thread.

[Link: remotecentral.com]

I used IRScrutinizer to decode the first code from the above link and determined the protocol is NEC1 and Device ID is 4.

So, hopefully, the 53 they gave you is a Function Number.

I then used IRScrutinizer to create NEC1 codes for Dev 4.

Here is the first code

Dev 4 Function 53 (Decimal)
0000 006C 0022 0002 015B 00AD 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0726 015B 0057 0016 0E6C

Next, as I am not sure if the value 53 was in decimal or was in hex, I created a code with Function 83 (decimal) which is 53 in hexadecimal.

Dev 4 Function 83 (53 hexadecimal)
0000 006C 0022 0002 015B 00AD 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0726 015B 0057 0016 0E6C
