Actually the HDBaseT connection will be an issue too. One of the big upgrades of the new consoles is the HDMI 2.1 features. VRR, ALLM, 4K 120Hz, etc...
The PS5 is currently running 32GBps and the XBOX 40GBps.
I don't believe we still have any HDBaseT copper solution that can do this. Anything you use (copper based) is going to be compressed and could have latency issues for gamers.
Can you run fiber? Or is the wiring already fixed? How far is the run going to be?

And then like mentioned above, the controller connectivity is always fun.

they arent running that unless they are on a TV that can take it in. So what it is running, and what it can run are 2 very different things.

I dont believe there are even any Matrix switches that do over 18Gbs HDMI either. So thats a consideration for a centralized system as well.
